The original goal of the grove was to create a safe haven for lost souls and guide these confused elves back into the Kaldorei society. It was a place of healing and redemption.
The Grove was disbanded during the return of Deathwing, who left many victims n his trail, one of them being Groves Sentinel Captain Starpaw. Elder Moonshred would later return to the dream for many Moons while most of the remaining members of the Grove scattered across the elven lands.
Now; Based in Dolaanar, elder druid Rethion Moonshred has returned and announced the new grove keeper to be Yurion Staghorn, his old shan'do. The grove's purpose has now changed to one more like that of the cenarion circle, to protect and restore the balance of the world. By the grove keeper's side are his two keepers, Gwaelien Silverfang and the founder Rethion Moonshred.

As said above, the Moonleaf Grove is a place for anyone following the Druidic oath, it is a place for the kaldorei people who wishes to protect the balance of the world and restore it once more. We take in that of kaldorei (preferably Druids). We also accept worgens if they prove to of use to us.
